Somewhere in the summers of 2014, just a few weeks before the end-semester exams, in the middle of a boring lecture, on the front side row, two people in two different colours (not of the skin)
The Kurta Guy:
Diye Jalte Hain,
phool khilte hain;
badi mushkil se, magar,
duniya mein dost milte hain...
The ThumbsUp Dude: You're right my friend.
Look (pointing to a bench where three sophisticated lads were seated), they are my friends, because they're afraid of me.
(Pointing to the last bench where three pretty girls were taking notes and texting) they are my friends because they can't go against them (the first reference).
(Pointing to the next bench where two lost-in-their-own-worlds lads are faking attention to the teacher) they are my friends because I help them get marks.
But you are my friend, because you are my friend.
This blog is about two friends from two different worlds, with two different frame of minds, with two different ways of looking at things, with two different sets of tastes. This blog is about their views, and the contrast which we all see in today's youth, and yet on the contrast, the similarity.
